Toronto - The Country Life

Well, what trip of mine would be complete without some horsing around, eh?

I was able to visit the racetrack and watch some special horses. Then, I went to another track the next day to see some more. There are alot of horse farms and beautiful countryside here. Gee, maybe I will move to Toronto...NOT....lol...the winters are brutal...

Toronto - The City Life

This is my first visit to Toronto and I am really enjoying myself. It is a clean, beautiful city and has been extremely hospitable (not to mention the shopping and restaurants are awesome).

I visited Casa Loma, an old estate that is like a Castle (fit for a dutchess like me); the Distillary District, the historic area; the Drake Hotel for Absinthe; the top of the Hyatt for an after-dinner martini; and of course, the TOP OF THE WORLD, the CN Tower. Mind you, I am afraid of heights, and I mustered up the courage to stand on the glass floor and look down... Oh, and they were filming a Richard Gere/Hilary Swank 1920s movie in front of my hotel for two days (they heard I was there...lol).

The City is great and I do plan on returning one of these days!!!
